Good morning! Did you wake up a millionaire thanks to last night’s Powerball drawing? Here’s a roundup of 10 or so links to catch you up this morning:

  • With a $500 million Powerball jackpot at stake, check your ticket against these winning numbers drawn Wednesday night: 11-13-25-39-54 and Powerball 19. (IndyStar)
  • RIP “60 Minutes” correspondent and veteran war reporter Bob Simon, 73, who died late Wednesday in a car crash in New York City. Said Executive Producer Jeff Fager: “It is such a tragedy made worse because we lost him in a car accident, a man who has escaped more difficult situations than almost any journalist in modern times.” (CBS News)
  • Did you catch it? Season 3 of “House of Cards” suddenly became available on Netflix for a moment Wednesday due to a system glitch. (The Verge) | Their Twitter account put a witty spin on the mistake:

  • For the first time, an Indiana legislative committee voted Wednesday for a bill that would allow Sunday carryout alcohol sales in Indiana at grocery stores, pharmacies and convenience stores. But the panel’s decision to amend House Bill 1624 to impose new restrictions on these stores could undermine support.   • A shooting victim found Wednesday  afternoon in a bullet-riddled pickup truck right outside the City-County Building was in “extremely critical condition” at Eskenazi Hospital as of late Wednesday night. Earlier reports that she had died were inaccurate. (IndyStar)
  • In a blog post that’s been ricocheting around social media, the executive producer of CBS Chicago’s website doesn’t hold back about “Emperor Pence,” Glenda Ritz and Indiana’s ISTEP mess. (CBS Chicago)
  • The Indianapolis Colts cleared space in their salary cap by cutting  LaRon Landry, who never lived up to the four-year, $24 million contract he signed before the 2013 season, as well as Andrew Jackson and Xavier Nixon. (IndyStar)
  • President Barack Obama sent Congress a formal request to for authorization to use military force against Islamic State militants, citing threats the group poses to Iraq and Syria, stability in the region, and the national security of the United States. (USA Today)
  • A huge crowd gathered at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, to honor three Muslim students who were shot to death. A neighbor was charged. Police are investigating whether it was a hate crime. (TIME)
  • Indiana Rep. Larry Bucshon’s comments about climate change are among at least three times that Hoosier pols have generated  killer material for “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.” (IndyStar)
